Camera Electronic’s Perth Photolive Expo is happening again in Perth this year. We missed a couple of years of Photolive due to COVID, but now it’s back, bigger and even better than before. Once again it’s on at the main conference room at the Novotel Langley Hotel in the Perth CBD, Sunday the 7th August 9am – 5pm.

Talks, walks Toys and workshops…

Photolive is a wonderland of toys and learning opportunities for photographers, with displays and demonstrations for just about everything photographic. Here you can play with all the latest gear, chat directly to the brand reps and, if you fancy, grab something of your very own with all the special show discounts. If you are looking to buy some new gear, this is the time and place to do it.

Inspiring Photo Talks

There are lots of inspiring half hour talks from some of our great local professional photographers that are $8 presale ($12 on the day), and the super condensed 2 hour intensive workshops on everything from printing to baby photography. All from leading professional photographers and just $65 pre sale ($95 on the day subject to availability).

The awesomest Digital Print Workshop.

Once again I will be running the 2 hour intensive digital print workshop at this year’s Photolive at 12pm. But just to keep it interesting I’ve redone the lesson plan, so there is loads of new and interesting stuff. This keeps me from becoming dull and boring and also means even if you have done this workshop before you can do it again. Even though the fundamentals of colour Management (not actually rude words) and digital printing remain the same, there will be lots of new material to spice it up.

Digital printers & Graphics Monitors

Of course I will be there with all the printing related toys. I will be demonstrating both the Canon Prograf Pro-1000 A2+ printer and the Epson P706 A3+ in a side by side print off, as well as slick and easy colour management workflows with both the Eizo and BenQ graphics monitors.

Fine Art Digital Print Paper

I think there is no point printing your own unless you use some beautiful papers. So I will be also hitting the guys at Camera Electronic up for some magic fine art papers to really show what these amazing printers can do.

Each year this workshop is usually booked out in advance, so if this is for you, go to the Photolive Print workshop page and book now.

Booking and availability

I believe there are still a couple of places left on this workshop a well as places on the other great workshops and talks, so visit photoliveexpo.com.au to book, or call the crew at Camera Electronic (08) 9328 4405.
